Arrivederci Milano!

Sergei Grinko

Milano Fashion Week is officially over and the next fashion week has already begun!
This crazy schedule shouldn't be arranged so again; it makes no sense coinciding two of the four main fashion weeks.
But whatever... In this last day, the new upcoming designers and the next generation shows could just blow your mind with the simple but still clever silhouettes combined with quality patterns. As for the rest, Chicca Lualdi Beequeen's cosy collection made me want to get immediately into the pale-coloured cableknits whilst Cristiano Burani and Basharatyan V. impressed with their smart use of PVC and synthetic materials together with natural fabrics and Sergei Grinko with his baroque aesthetic jewels...

Coming to the end...

Genny

And as Milan Fashion Week is coming to an end, clothes are getting more easy-worn and textiles more cosy... In the sixth day in Milan some of the most powerful italian labels  showed off their collections; from the prestige-ous Giorgio Armani and Gianfranco Ferré to the youth-favourite Dsquared2 all of them were kept their signature...

La Dolce Vita

Dolce Gabbana

On the fifth day in Milan Fashion Week the atmosphere was mere feminine!
From Dolce Gabbana's sicilian-esque woman to Trussardi's chic androgyne looks it was all about luxurious textiles and narrow lines yelling out femininity. Laura Bagiotti's innocent garments, Aquilano. Rimondi 's new vision alta moda, Marni's '60s edge and Missoni's nature textures were only a few amongst them.
Who couldn't adore Dolce Gabbana's capes and dresses in metallic gold thread and their lace skirtsuits as well as Salvatore Ferragamo's crocheted silk dresses...

With the thermometer stuck at 38oC and a  headache driving me crazy,  writing yesterday was impossible. And even though fever hasn't gone down, I have to do something with Milan Fashion Week, which is left behind...
So, today we are going to cover the last three days in Milan...

Wild Thing

Etro

In the third day in Milan things got a little bit wild with a lot of animal references.
Bright -or not- coloured furs for Blumarine, Les copains and Iceberg,  animal prints for Just Cavalli, bold leather for C'N'C' Costume National, Marco de Vicenzo and Versace and matadors (for second time) for Moschino.
By the way, I need those head-bows (see Moschino)...
