Another day @ London Fashion Week

 Yesterday was the 4th day of London Fashion Week beginning with Peter Pilotto and ending with McQ Alexander McQueen. One could say it was a warm and cosy-wear day, due to the variety of knits we saw.
  First of all, there was the unaffected style of Sophie Hulme and the monochrome pale paste sets of Antonio Berardi and Fashion East. Then the Pringle of Scotland and Mark Fast cosy knits.
A more extreme version was that of Fred Butler, whose candy-like knit shoes and knitwear were so lovely (it was love at first sight) whilst her (not-so)-wearable colourful sculpture reminded me something of Meadham Kirchhoff. Last but not least were Erdem's Peggy Guggenheim-inspired lace and tweed dresses, ideal for a cold winter day. And here is the full list with samples of the whole day's shows:
