Mary Katrantzou for Topshop

Here is a good reason for a two-day-trip to London. On Friday February 17th Topshop launches their S/S 2012 designer collaboration with the Greek London Fashion Week favourite designer Mary Katrantzou.

Mary's first Prêt-à-porter collection was shown at the A/W London Fashion Week 2008 and her eye-catching prints gained immediately the audience.

  So far, the designer has collaborated with the top shoe designer Christian Louboutin, who made the shoes for her A/W11 runway show, Topshop (first time) in 2010 and finally with the French fashion brand Longchamp. 

 This 9-piece collection is her first capsule one for Topshop and includes Chinese porcelain vase - like prints -coming of her F/W11 mainline- on short-hem dresses and skirts, tailored trousers, T-shirts, blouses, scarves as well as a limited collection of nail designs.
